OK folks....I haven't blogged in so long, I could hardly remember my Blogger login name. I decided even though I don't have any current pictures on anything other than my IPhone, I was going to sit down and write a pictureless post. No fun for you, I know, but if I don't get my thoughts out of my brain and on to this digital page today, it probably will be 3 more weeks until I have a chance to again. Life with a baby is like that...you get to choose a clean house, folded laundry, craft projects, relaxing or getting on to write a blog post when you have a spare second. I have chosen all of those things (though not necessarily in that order) recently.
Lexi is growing like a weed. Her 5 month marker, passed by uneventfully (meaning I didn't take a million pictures like I normally do). She is changing so quickly..I can't believe in a couple weeks she will be 6 months old!!! How has it been half a year since I had her? Her future BFF, Mackenzie, my friend Kristen's baby will be here anyday and we are so excited. I can't believe that I have the baby who is rolling and trying to crawl and babbling away and she will have the newborn now. How is Lexi already passed the newborn stage? Time flies so quickly.
Lexi and I had a fabulous Spring Break together. We visited my family in Houston and went to Jones Creek to see Aunt Margaret and Uncle Bobby. Nick has been away for 11 days in China with his best friend, Steven and if finally coming home today. We could not be more excited about his arrival home!
In other news, I started a new Etsy shop called Cutesy Tootsy Boutique to put my crafting chops to the test. In the first couple weeks after opening I got SO many orders I had to temporarily put the shop on "vacation mode" to get caught up. I am so excited to be able to create for others...where it will lead in the future, one can only guess.
So that's a short summary of our life right now. We are busy little bees and I am counting the days until summer is here and I can be with my little munchkin all the time!
